About T!

I LOVE community and I LOVE DANCE!!!!

I have been teaching dance to both adults and youth for over 24 years. I am trained in Jazz, Modern, Tap, Ballet, Hip Hop and Theater, but have extensive studies, training and passion for African and Afro-Caribbean dance and folklore. I LOVE connecting the dots between many different dance forms and discovering other cultures through dance!

I've taught, performed, choreographed and provided coaching and movement trainings for Staff Retreats, Youth Retreats, Conferences, Festivals, Museums, (and more!) throughout the United States, Mexico and internationally in England, Scotland, South Africa and Hong Kong. So whether it's the rear opportunity of getting corporates to loosen a tie or two at the Disney University in Burbank, CA or coaching the instructional staff at the Skirball Museum of Los Angeles in creating their own movement vocabulary, I just might have the ingredients to ignite your staff and/or energize the SOUL of your business! Sounds interesting and exciting? Let's talk about IT! CONTACT ME!

I have choreographed and coached numerous performances for youth in the Orange & Seminole County School Districts in Central Florida and the Glendale, Los Angeles and Pasadena Unified School Districts of Los Angeles County.

My past experience as youth performer, mentor, teacher and Director of Youth Programs for the Urban League, enhances my unique talent for inspiring people, young and old, to “embrace their own personal stage, and dance like nobody's watching!” ......so if you have an upcoming school performance, a birthday party or quinceara you want to add a unique flavor to or perhaps a school fundraiser that involves moving and grooving for cash?

 I'M YOUR HUCKLEBERRY!

I have branded my own style, as a dance form and fitness program (Afrofunk DanceFit™). I've also designed a unique teaching method the  Move.Dance. LIVE! Method, created for instructors who seek to use dance, movement and fitness as a tool for personal growth & development, workplace wellness and simply make more of a wholistic connection with their students and surrounding communities.

I teach in studios throughout the LA area and conduct workshops all over the world.  Check out my class schedule!

I am currently a principal dancer with Niancho Eniyaley, a West African dance company, a performance coach for up and coming pop and R&B artist at MoniHaze Management and a proud Triathlete! I'm a wife, a mom to three amazing sons, a daughter of six siblings, a sister to many and an ambassador for LIVING your best Life through Movement... Because Life is a Dance RIGHT?
